    What is a Demon Avenger?

A Demon Avenger is a new class from the Resistance race.
It is a ''sub-class'' for the Demon Slayer. He DOES share the same story line, and so nothing has changed about that.
Instead of having purple hair, Demon Avenger has white hair.

When you create your Demon Avenger you will see the same tutorial as the original Demon Slayer.
After you hit level 10 you can choose which class you want to be.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Pros and Cons

    Pros

-Good damage with a low amount of funding because it is a new class
    -A high amount of HP!
    -No MP pots needed!
    -Beginner friendly for AP assignment.

    Cons

-Your damage will decrease with your hp. So a full HP bar is a must if you want to deal alot of damage.
-Funding is different then other classes, and there isnt a rush on %HP items.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Which weapon does a Demon Avenger use?

A Demon Avenger doesnt use the same weapon as a Demon Slayer, which is a 1h mace.
No no, he has his own weapon. Called a ''Desperado'', He also has a own shield/secondary weapon.
That one is the same as a Demon Slayer. Called a Force Shield.
The desperado will not be equipped in your hand, it will be on your back.
    Only if you swing your desperado it will be in your hand. Example ;
Empress Desperado will be released with this patch (Unlimited)

    All the desperado's :

How do i fund a Demon Avenger?

I already told in the beginning of the guide, that Demon Avenger uses HP to deal their damage.
This means they do NOT use any STR as a warrior. So it will not effect your damage.
Anyways, you cannot even add any points into strength. Auto assign will assign everything into hp. (health points)
Also, weapon attack will boost your range aswell. So grab alot of weapon attack here and there.
There is a pmd coming (4th april - 30th of april) which gives onyx apples, they increase your attack by 100!
Be sure to buy alot of these, so you can train a little bit faster.

Yes, i see you thinking. So.. i need %HP to increase my attack range?
Indeed. And that is why Nexon raised the hp cap to 500,000 in this patch

Here are some tips how i fund my Demon Avenger, and which items everyone could collect by friends.

    A Chaos Zakum Helmet

They increase your health by 10%, which is a free 10% HP! Ask your friend to kill the chaos zakum or do it yourself.
Be aware that czak can seduce you and kill you. So you can always ask your friend if you could give him a premium scissor of karma and give it to you.

    A Bunny Disguise

This item is for the more funded player, they were obtainable through a event at pre-bb.
A clean BG3 will cost you alot right now. But its worth it.

    3 Empress pieces

For the average player, a great type of funding.
Get a Empress shoe, glove, hat. and you will obtain a free +15% HP boost!
I'll suggest you to stop a 3 pieces, because you will not go for the boss damage in the end.
A top + bottom is better with a chaos zakum, you will notice that soon enough.

Probally the most recommend item in the world for a Demon Avenger.. HB Pants

Get yourself a pants with <Decent Hyperbody> on it. It will increase your HP by 40%
This is alot for such a small amount of mesos. They cost around 100-350m. Depends on how desperate the seller is. And all that %HP for such a low prize. Its incredible.

    Rex earrings from Hoblin PQ

This earring is for every mapler out there. It has a free 10% HP on it, and i cubed it myself to an extra 9%.
So that is 19% for free, on just a earring! Get it at the Hoblin PQ. Droprate is average. Do the PQ a few times and you will obtain it.

Get yourself a Tempest Ring or a Darkness ring!

There are 7 tradeable rings, and they are potable. However, only 4 of these rings are 3rd tier.
Darkness ring 1+2+3 are 3rd tier and pottable. They can be obtained in Veracent (to go there click on the pq portal and select Veracent)
Another option is the tempest ring, they are from the tempest store / event. The event has currently ended, so you wont be able to buy your own rings anymore. There are still a few %HP rings in the fm. So be sure to check the fm out.

There are a few %HP rings in the fm, i bought mine for 25m if im correctly. Because people are to stupid to sell their %HP equips+rings for a small amount of mesos these days. I think that most of the people do not realize that they can make a hugh profit at the release.. but anyways.

    Chaos horntail pendant

Obtainable from the boss Chaos Horntail.
A average boss if you go with a squad. The necklace gives 10% hp and is a great pendant to use.

    ><><>< Guide still under construction, if i have any other tips i will update the guide ><><><

    FAQ and Tips

Q What is the Demon Avenger link skill?
    A 10% damage (passive)

Q Does Demon Avenger has a character card?
A Yes it has, 1/2/3/4/5% BOSS DMG!

Will str effect my damage at all?
A little little bit, so dont add any point in str. Its useless! You dont need it for equipment anyways. So go full hp.

    Can i use a 1h sword?
No, They use a new weapon called a ''Desperado''

When will this class arrive in European Maplestory?
No one knows, only Nexon does. But knowing the patching speed it will be here either the begin of the summer of the end. I expect it to be in the begin, because it is a big patch which has different parts.
Unlimited part 1+2+3 (UI Change and damage cap raisement / Demon Avenger/ Xenon)

    Tips!

While you wait for the launch, create the following characters to improve your max health!

-Cannoneer (currently unavailable due being a period limited class) -> Gives 5% extra health
-Kaiser (available) -> gives 10% health
    -Create your perfect character deck.

Each deck gives 15% extra range based on your HP. Except Soul Masters. They do not count in this list.
This will result in a 40% additional %HP.
The warriors have to be level 100!
You will get the following decks :

    -Hero, Paladin, Dark Knight
-Soul Master, Demon Avenger , Demon Slayer
    -Aran, Mihile, Kaiser

I guess you should add that they can grow their damage range with hp AND weapon attack. It's quite important to get high %hp stuffs + scrolled watt. And tempest rings are not the only pot-able rings, we have 7 tradeable and pot-able and at least one untradeable and pot-able rings. Only 4 of these rings are tier 3, though.
    But great guide!

Darkness rings I, II and III are Tier 3 and pottable. Chaos Hotntail Pendant gives 10% HP. Great guide ;3

Create a character card deck while you wait for the launch:
    Dark Knight - 2% - 3% - 4% - 5% max hp
Kaiser - str bonus for card, but link skill is +10% hp
and finally your demonic avenger to complete the deck "Powerful Charge" that gives 4% - 6% - 8% - 10% hp to damage

Nice guide, hehe. I will probably make one for Xenons since anyone who knows me hoe much time, effort and money I've already used to make that class perfect xD About the gear, I feel like there are some things that could be added/fixed:

Get yourself a pants with <Decent Hyperbody> on it. It will increase your HP by 60%
It's 40% for decent, 60% for the actual one. Also I'd get both HB and normal % bottoms. Also take into account: Diabolic Recovery: Increase your HP by 30% for 180 seconds. Consumes 600 HP. Passivelyrecover 5% of your HP every 4 seconds. (max level: 20)

It's possible that this does not stack with HB: For example, a Battle Mage skill that increases your HP by 100% does not stack with it. I have no idea which case is true, but usually active buffs that increase HP by percentage don't seem to stack. Well, of course, getting 2 bottoms and using HB -> switching bottoms still increases your HP percentage, so it's not half bad.

Also, notable HP% pieces of equipment: Chaos Horntail Necklace and Dominator's Pendant. I think that there were more of HP% equips, so mehh. Don't forget these scrolls btw: eye accessory for HP 10%/30%/60%/70%, Miracle scroll for hat for HP

What Chargeables said is true. If you increase your HP with x%, it will always be based on your base MaxHP.
In example: if you have 1000 HP and you have the decent hyper body (40% more HP) and Diabolic Recovery (30% more HP), you will result in 1700 HP (40% of 1000 + 30% of 1000).

Ah, I meant more like that the effects might not stack xD For instance, Battle Mages get no HP boost from HB at all.
